 About the Cover: Receiving Jesus means receiving the One who sent Him. We received Jesus through the preaching of the Word. We received Jesus through Holy Baptism. We received Jesus through the Lord's Supper. We received Jesus first and foremost because we have a Father in heaven who gives and does not stop given to us in abundance. In receiving Jesus, the One who was sent, we receive a Father who looks in loving kindness upon His children.
