Certainly, these words apply all the more to Jesus, the Lamb of God, who was sacrificed for us. He, who was delivered into the hands of sinful men, has delivered us to us forgiveness, life, and salvation through His death and resurrection. Christ is truly “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29)
