 About the Cover:  All seems lost when the news comes that Jairus’s daughter has died while Jesus was on the way to heal her.  But Jesus is in control of the situation. He turns death into slumber. That is what it is when Jesus speaks life into the dead. St. Paul says that our death is but a slumber in Christ. Death does not have the final authority over us because it could not keep Christ in the tomb. On the great day of resurrection, we shall be filled with life-body and soul.
