About the Cover: There are shepherds, and then there are shepherds. Jesus is a special kind of shepherd. He says, “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11). He means that He is the perfect shepherd. He knows what we, His sheep, need, and He knows how to provide for us. Not only does He lead us to eternal life, but He feeds us on the way Therefore, we join the psalmist who wrote, “The Lord is my shepherd” (Psalm 23:1).
