 About the Cover: When Jesus begins his public ministry, Herod fears that John the Baptist has been raised. Though Herod had heard John gladly (yet was perplexed}, he had put him to death because of a foolish oath and a desired perception in front of his guests. John, however, was a forerunner of Jesus. Jesus, too, died. However, He rose to never die again. Jesus’ preaching rings true today as He calls us to repentance and faith in his saving work.
