The traditional Greek term meaning “He who is,” found around Christ’s halo is the cover image, reminds us who Jesus is-God’s eternal tabernacle in human flesh. Knowing this becomes all the more profound as we contemplate where Christ is going-namely, the cross-to redeem sinners.
